Scope of work
- Facility construction and renovation: Administrative, training, maintenance, dormitory, and community facility construction and renovation on Air Force and Space Force installations under NAICS 236220.
- Airfield-adjacent work: Work near the flight line carries constraints ordinary sites do not — height and crane restrictions, foreign object debris control, controlled-area escort, and airfield operations coordination. These are schedule drivers, and they belong in the plan before award, not after.
- Building systems and energy upgrades: Mechanical, electrical, envelope, and controls upgrades in facilities that stay occupied, sequenced with utility outages coordinated through the base civil engineer.
- Access and force protection: Base access badging, escorted work in controlled areas, restricted delivery windows, and antiterrorism standoff criteria under UFC 4-010-01 where the facility type requires them.
- Quality and closeout: Three-phase quality control, UFGS submittals, EM 385-1-1 safety documentation, Davis-Bacon certified payroll, and a turnover package that closes the contract and supports an honest performance rating.
